  • The Thracian Valley is the located in the central & southand southern parts of Bulgaria. It is situated below the Balkan Mountains and Sredna Gora and above the Rhodope Mountains and Aegean Sea. The climate is temperate continental, shieldprotected from northern winds by the mountains and experiencreceiving adequate rainfall. Historically, the Thracian Valley was covered in forests and known for its rich forest soils. Since ancient times, winemaking has been an essential source of livelihood.
